Jerry Marvin Tarr, age 83, of Graham, Texas passed away Thursday evening, September 27, 2018, in Weatherford.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Frankie Bailey, Pastor of Young County Cowboy Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Jerry was born November 23, 1934 in Albany, Texas to James Monroe Tarr and Bonnie Faye Matthews Tarr.

He married the love of his life for sixty-three years, Vinita Adams, on December 26, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Jerry had been a cowboy and an airplane mechanic throughout his life and was smart as a whip.  He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, motorcycles and hot rods.  He also loved guns.  Jerry was a Lay Pastor of the Young County Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vinita of Graham; two sons, Jerry Don Tarr and wife, Rhonda of Newcastle, and Bobby Wayne Tarr of Weatherford; and one sister, Carol Kuester of Corpus Christi.
