Jeral Wesley "Chip" Goolsby, age 40, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Archer City and West Columbia, passed away March 24, 2014 at his residence.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Aulds Funeral Home with Joe Cullen, Pastor of the First Christian Church of Archer City, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
Chip was born April 4, 1973 in Rosenberg, Texas to Johnnie Jeral Goolsby and Linda Gay Pate Goolsby.
He attended school in Archer City and 1991 he graduated from West Columbia High School in West Columbia, Texas.
Chip was employed as a car salesman and worked in finance. He loved riding motorcycles and fishing. Chip was a great uncle and had a great love for children and was always surrounded by friends.
Survivors include his mother, Gay Hendrixson and companion, Harold Scheller of Archer City; one sister, Lona Davis and husband, Greg of Fort Worth; brother, John Hendrixson and wife, Kim of Burkburnett; father, Jeral Goolsby of West Columbia, Texas; nephews, Sebastian, Blake and Cody and niece, Sophia; two uncles, Bob Pate and Melvin Pate and wife, Mary all of Houston; multiple cousins; loving companion, Roxanne Andrus; her son, Kelly and his wife, Ashley; their children, Heaven and Maddison; her daughter, Jessica Andrus and children, Kennadee and Kaegen; her daughter, Jennifer Bacd and husband, Scott and their son, Jonathan.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Johnny Goolsby and Mattie Ella Goolsby; Melvin and Bill Pate; two aunts, Dona Ayala and Dudley Pate; nephew, Quentin Davis and step-father, Wally Hendrixson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Archer Service Center, P.O. Box 578, Archer City, Texas 76351.
