Jennings "Butch" Willett, Jr., age 68, of Electra, Texas, passed away Thursday morning, February 20, 2014 at a Wichita Falls, Texas hospital.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Electra with Rev. Darwin Stroud, pastor of the First Assembly of God of Electra, and Dr. Michael Watts, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014.

Mr. Willett was born October 9, 1945 in Electra to the late Jennings Ingram Willett, Sr. and Eria Ivaughn Richards Willett. He graduated from Electra High School in 1964 and worked as a welder throughout his lifetime. He was employed by C-E NATCO for more than twenty years before his health forced his retirement in 1996.

J.I. was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Electra Chamber of Commerce. He was also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Du Plooy and her husband A.J. of Byers, Texas; his twin sons, Jarroll and Harroll, both of Electra; two sisters, Jeannette Miller and Sherry Strange, both of Electra; 5 Grandchildren, Todd Parker and his wife Karlee, Brittany Arnold and her fiancé Matthew, Jaylee Arnold, Amelia Willett, and Ashley Willett; six great-grandchildren, Cashton, Everly-Grace, Easton, Parker Brooke, Jace, and Jessa; three nieces and nephews, Scott Strange, Marsha Strange, and Teannette Miller. He will also be greatly missed by his yellow lab, Ray.
