On Sunday, March 13, 2022 Jennifer Lyn Finch passed. Jennifer was born on March 9, 1970 to Dolan and Chris Eckelkamp Finch on the WT Waggoner Ranch. She was a born adventurer and mischief maker. She took great delight in outwitting her parents with escapes through pig pens and horse lots and hiding in the tops of trees. More than once she led her Dad's half broke horses into the house to play. As a young girl she worked with speech and physical therapists at the North Texas Rehabilitation Center. She attended grade school at the Mission Road Foundation Boarding School in San Antonio and later the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin. She graduated from Electra High School in 1989.

Jennifer possessed a large and loving heart that encompassed her family, friends and the entire Electra community. She remembered birthdays and anniversaries with cards and the holidays with deliveries of cakes, cookies and candies made from scratch. All of them were signed with "I Love You" and she did.

Jennifer was a lifelong member of St Paul Catholic Church and member of the Altar Society. She was active in the Electra Riding Club, participating in playdays and grand entries. She was an avid supporter of the Hotter 'N Hell Bicycle Ride, baking hundreds of oatmeal cookies each year. She volunteered with the Cowpoke City 4-H Club. Many days she could be found at the library helping with small tasks.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, Dolan and Chris, her uncle JDon Finch and aunts Sherry Eckelkamp Ray and Frances Lancaster Finch. She is survived by her cats Apple and Lulu, her sister Danelle; her nieces Elizabeth, Jessica, and Amber; nephews James and Ted all of Electra; her Uncle Joe Ray of Grapevine; cousins Jamie Ray Blankenship of Euless, Rebecca Finch Smith and Kenneth Finch of Paducah.

The rosary will be said at St Paul Catholic Church at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 with visitation to follow in the Parish Hall. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 under the direction of Reverend Alex Ambrose and Deacon Dave Poole. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Memorials may be made to the St Paul Alter Society, 600 Davy Dr., Burkburnett, Texas 76354, the Electra Public Library, 401 North Waggoner, Electra, Texas 76360, or the North Texas Rehabilitation Center, 1005 Midwestern Pkwy., Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
