Jeane Burton, age 82, of Archer City, passed away Saturday morning, September 29, 2018, in Vista Living of Archer.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.  Burial will be in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Jeane was born November 22, 1935 in Archer City, Texas to Lloyd William "Pete" Forson and Verbia Marie Willingham Forson.

She married the love of her life, L.C. Burton on May 18, 1951 in Kingman, Arizona.  He preceded her in death on January 31, 1998.

Jeane was a loving wife, mother and homemaker but was known mostly as L.C.'s wife.  She attended the First Christian Church in Archer City.
