Jean A. McNair, age 82, of Archer City, Texas, formerly of Uvalde, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Olney, Texas.

A Celebration of Jean's life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Jean was born June 12, 1937 in Mt. Morris, Illinois to the late John Homer Davis and Ethel Louise Miller Davis.  She graduated from Mt. Morris High School and then the School of X-Ray Technology in Rockford, Illinois.

She married George Crawford McNair on August 9, 1957.  He preceded her in death on July 31, 1999.

Jean was employed in Cortez, Colorado before her employment at Uvalde Memorial Hospital as an X-Ray Technician and Clinical Lab Technician for thirteen years until her retirement in 2002 when she moved to Archer City.

Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Morris, Illinois.

Survivors include two sons, John McNair and wife, Linda of Hondo, Texas and Mike McNair and wife, Jennifer of Lake Kickapoo; one sister, Chris Stengl of Minocqua, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, John Neal McNair, Sherry McNair, Bobby McNair and Matthew McNair; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
