Janett Rodawalt Carroll, age 72, of Electra, Texas passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, at her residence.

A Celebration of Janett's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church of Electra with Rev. Bob Lee officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Janett was born May 23, 1948 in Electra to the late James Ray Rodawalt and Masel Lee Rowe Rodawalt. She graduated from Electra High School.

Janett fiercely loved her children, and was always their biggest advocate. She loved them for who they were, and they brought her the most pride. She was wickedly funny, and never took herself too seriously, and never met a stranger. She was born into an incredibly loving family, with two amazing parents and siblings who adored her, and then went on to have a robust family of her own with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her family meant more than anything, and brought her immense joy.

Janett was a fixture at the local drugstore, Goldsmiths, where her charm and laughter enriched people's lives. You couldn't help but immediately feel better after a conversation with Janett, and working with the people of Electra brought her endless fulfillment.

Survivors include two sons, Sean Carroll of Electra and Derek Carroll and husband, Jonmichael McBurnett; one daughter, Deidra Harbin and husband, Derek of Rowlett: brother, Norman Rodawalt and wife, Sue of Irving; four sisters, Barbara Nash and husband, Tom of Grapevine, Gaytha Lorenz and husband, Sid of Wichita Falls, Lesia Rodawalt and Donna Grant of Arlington and Rhonda Schlegel and husband, Max of Electra; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Steve Rodawalt.

We will always love her, and she will live in our hearts for eternity. You will be missed.
