James Everett Percy, 78, passed away on September 15, 2026, in Virginia. He was born July 15, 1948.

The greatest joys and blessings of his life were his children; Heather, Jason and Erik and his grandchildren.

James spent the final years of his life surrounded by family, living with his daughter Heather, son-in-law Cobahn, and his grandchildren. He leaves behind his daughter Heather and son-in-law Cobahn; grandchildren Faith and her partner Uriel, Alix, Michael, Charisma, Felicity, Klairre, and Kaiden; his son Jason; the mother of his children and former wife, Carol; and his sisters, LeeAnn and Lucille.

James was a skilled carpenter who spent many years in Archer City, Texas, making his living through the carpenter trade. He was known for his skill with his hands and the work he was able to create through his craft. He was also an accomplished artist, turning paper and pencil into beautiful drawings.

He was preceded in death by his son, Erik, his grandson, Sean and his sister Edie.

At James's request, there will be no funeral service. A private memorial was held on top of a mountain in Virginia.

He will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the life he shared with them and the lasting place he holds in their hearts.
