James David "Jim" Hitchcock, age 60, of Lake Kickapoo passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his residence.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.  No services are planned.

Jim was born September 27, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to the late Kenneth Ray Hitchcock and CoeAnna Lynn Burm Hitchcock.

He graduated from Holliday High School.  Jim was in construction throughout his life and traveled a lot.  He was a fun loving guy who really enjoyed fishing and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his sisters, Julie Chapman of Lake Isabella, California and Laura Francisco of Kentucky; nephews, Michael and Clifford Francisco, Chester Chapman and wife, Carolina, Billy Chapman and wife, Megan; great-nephews, Collin, Connor, Jaxon Chapman and great-niece, Makenzie Chapman.

The family suggests memorials to Lake Kickapoo Volunteer Fire Department.
