James "Jim" Dhane, age 79, of Harrold, Texas passed away Monday, January 6, 2020, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in the Harrold Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Jim was born March 11, 1940 in Blueridge, Texas to the late Odie B. Dhane and Ruby May Langford Dhane.

He married Lynn Richardson on January 20, 1978 in St. Jo, Texas.

Jim was a truck driver throughout his life.  He also was a race car driver and an avid member of the Quick 16.

Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Lynn Dhane of Harrold; children, Silvia Rugies and daughter, Laura of Langenselbold, Germany, Robert Dhane of Colorado, Elizabeth Dhane of Roanoke, Virginia, James Dhane, Jr. and daughter, Sunday of Roanoke, Virginia, Jonathan Dhane and children, Macenzy and Christopher of Harrold, and Charles "Chuck" Dhane of Electra; two brothers, Paul Dhane of Gainesville, George Dhane and wife, Faye of Leesville, Louisiana; sister, Debra Dhane Hodges of Wichita Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Charles Dhane and sister, Audrey Dhane Raschke.
