J.D. Scheller, age 80, of Moreno Valley, California and Archer City, Texas passed away November 23, 2014 in Morena Valley, California.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the First Baptist Church with Roger Deerinwater, Pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.
J.D. was born August 7, 1934 in Bowie, Texas to the late Amil Scheller and Vira Renfro Scheller.
He and Barbara Joyce Parks were married August 6, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was employed in the oilfield throughout his life. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, son, grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The family suggests memorials to the Archer Service Center, P.O. Box 578, Archer City, Texas 76351.
