J.L. Elledge, age 82, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away August 26, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Aulds Funeral Home with Roger Deerinwater, Baptist Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
J.L. was born April 3, 1932 in Greasy Bend, Oklahoma to the late Jewell Lester Elledge and Susie Lee Barnes Elledge.
He and Laura Jean Hathaway were married November 5, 1981 in Walters, Oklahoma.
J.L. was a salesman throughout his life. His passion in life was playing music.
Survivors include his wife, Laura of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four daughters, Hope Elledge of Mustang, Oklahoma, Rebecca Collett, Laura Collett, and Sara Wilder, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Brenda Elledge Bates and husband, Donnie of Iowa Park, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Barney on June 30, 2012; two brothers, Gene and Billy Elledge and one nephew, Billy Charles Elledge.
