Ileene Selman, age 91, of Electra, Texas passed away Monday, August 25, 2014, at her residence.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Southside Church of Christ Dennis Huff, Minister of Southside Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Ileene was born July 22, 1923 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Angus Barton Davis and Gladys Ileene Plunkett Davis.

She and Dan Selman were married December 15, 1943 in Pampa, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1988.

Ileene was a homemaker throughout her life raising four children. She was a member of the Mobil Wives Club, the Vernon Art Club and an active member of the Southside Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. Ileene's favorite hobby was painting and she shared those paintings with her family. She was a very independent woman who always did things her way. She was a wonderful Mamaw and she loved cats.

Survivors include one son, Bart Selman and Celia of Garland, Texas; two daughters, Becky Payton and husband, Glenn "Corky" of Wichita Falls, Texas and Linda Lincoln and husband, Tad of Naples, Texas; one sister, Billie Turner of Pampa, Texas; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Selman on March 8, 1990; one great-granddaughter, Trisha Selman in 2003; and one grandson, Dean Selman on August 26, 2013.
