Harold Lee Scheller, age 76, of Archer City, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in Wichita Falls.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Gay Hendrixson's home located at 901 South Ash in Archer City. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Harold was born to the late Amil Scheller and L Vira Renfro Scheller in Snyder, Texas.

Harold was a laborer throughout his life and retired from Walmart. He moved to Archer City in 2008.

Harold was a very loving and giving man who had a beautiful smile. Although he was a quiet man, he had quite a "presence". He enjoyed being around his family and friends and was loved by everyone. He collected eagles and coins and was very patriotic. He loved the Lord and his country.

Survivors include one son, Harold Ray Scheller and wife, Devra of Baytown, Texas; one daughter, Rhonda Gandy of Baytown; four grandchildren, Ashlyn, Allisa, Lauren and D.J. of Baytown; one sister, Joyce Martin of Conroe, Texas; one brother, Pat Scheller of Archer City; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Scheller of Moreno Valley, California, and Carolyn Scheller of Bridgeport, Texas; one brother-in-law, Jr. Harrelson of Archer City; his soul mate, Gay Hendrixson of Archer City; her daughter, Lona Davis and husband, Greg of Fort Worth, her son, John Hendrixson and wife, Kim of Burkburnett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter, B.F., J.D., Grover and Robert Scheller; and sisters, Beulah Mae Mueller, and Kay Harrelson.
