Harold Wayne "Jody" Walthers, age 70, of Holliday, Texas passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Texoma Cowboy Church with Mark Kunkel, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Terral, Oklahoma, officiating.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Jody was born November 11, 1950 in Osceola, Mississippi County, Arkansas to the late Dean and Alma Walthers.

He and Wilma Fay Cullar were married March 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She preceded him in death on November 16, 2016.

Jody was the owner and operator of H & W Upholstery for ten years and then worked for Howmet until his retirement.

He loved hunting, fishing and his grandchildren.  Jody was a jokester and always had a big story to tell.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Lain and husband, David Casteel of Wichita Falls, Tammie Lain and husband, Pete Mosia of Wichita Falls, and Frankie Powell and husband, Ryan of Iowa Park; four brothers, Jim Walthers and wife, Joyce, Kenneth Walthers, Ronnie Walthers and Donnie Walthers, all of Jumpertown, Mississippi; one sister, Gertie Newman of Jumpertown, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Rachel Self and husband, Jesse Shores, Matthew Harper, Chace Foster and fiancé, Jayne Carroll and Ethan Powell; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Dean Walthers.
