Glenda Jones Sanderson, age 66, of Electra, Texas passed away Sunday morning, August 28, 2016, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016, in the Electra Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Medley, Pastor of University United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will be receiving guests from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Genda was born May 18, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Roy and Alma Faye Honey Jones.
She and David Sanderson were married July 9, 1995 in Electra. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2014.
Glenda graduated from Amarillo High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillside Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Jacobs and husband, Terry of Electra; two step-sons, Spencer and Wesley Sanderson of Wichita Falls; five grandchildren, Justin, Cameron, Blade, Collier and Scout; two great-grandchildren, Kandyn and Keygan; and her aunt and uncle, Flonnie and Gene Bryant and their family.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Don Jones.
