Gladys Woodall, age 97, lifelong resident of Archer City, passed away Friday morning, February 23, 2018, in Vista Living of Archer.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church of Archer City with Rev. Ben Rigsby of First United Methodist Church and Roger Deerinwater of Archer City officiating.  Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Gladys was born December 18, 1920 in Archer County, Texas to the late Walter Clinton Neal and Bessie Elizabeth Alice Coulter Neal.

She and William Lee Woodall were married in Archer City.  He preceded her in death on December 12, 1969.

Gladys was a homemaker throughout her life. Her family was the most important and cherished thing in her life.  She always called to check on all of them and wanted to know about their lives.  She was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Faye Foster and husband, Gene of Archer City; four grandchildren, David Foster and wife, Dana of Holliday, Richard Foster and wife, Mercedes of Archer City, Kristy Jones and husband, Michael of Holliday, and Kevin Foster and wife, Lacey of Archer City; twelve great-grandchildren, Cason, Caleb, Tyler, Victoria, Blake, Justin, Kody, Austin, Brady, Madison, Tennysin and Grayley.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Luke, Elmer, Bert, W.C. and Leroy and two sisters, Nell and Marie.
