Gilbert Magaña, 62, passed away in his home on December 27, 2015 in Scotland, Texas.

Gilbert was born February 24, 1953 in Harlingen, Texas to his parents, Jose Magaña and Gregoria Lozano. He was married to his soulmate, Lee Ann Magaña, on June 4, 1984.

Gilbert was a loving husband, father, and a friend to all. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being surrounded by friends, and constantly making everybody laugh. Gilbert never met a stranger and could bring a smile to anyone's face with his contagious happiness and silly jokes. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at the lake boating and fishing.

Gilbert is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Magaña; his sons and daughters-in-law, Cody and Megan Magaña and Cruz and Jessie Magaña; and his daughter, Angela Valencia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Texoma Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls, with Pastor John Riggs officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gilbert's life. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
