George Geist, age 71, of Archer City, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Hospice of Wichita Falls.
No services are planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral home of Archer City.
George was born May 6, 1944 in Alva, Oklahoma to the late Loyd Lester Geist and Mildred Mae Tucker Geist.
George graduated from Cleo Spring High School. He then attended Beauty School where he received his license to be a beautician. He work in Enid, Oklahoma and then moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for Sam's Beauty Company for thirty years. After his retirement, he moved to Archer City in 2012. He loved to go to the horse races.
George was a member of the First Christian Church in Cleo Spring.
Survivors include one sister, Carroll Hill and husband, Paul of Archer City; one brother, Lloyd Geist and wife, Sharon of Wichita, Kansas; one aunt, Glenna Ruth Bloyd of Aline, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
