Geneva Mae Rogers Whitaker was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 31, 1941, and went to meet her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ed and Evelyn Rogers, and one sister, Roberta Knowles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Robb Stephenson, Pastor of the Haws Road Community Church in Iowa Park, officiating.  Geneva will be laid to rest in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls on Monday, December 2, 2024, under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

She graduated from Valley View High School.  After high school, Geneva obtained her beauty operator license and operated her own beauty shop.  She also served as Director of Child Care Incorporated in Wichita Falls for many years.  Geneva loved children, especially her grandchildren and was commonly called "NaNa" by everyone around her, as that was the name given her by her grandkids.

Geneva became passionate about fishing early in life by spending time with her father.  She enjoyed dancing to country music and gardening. Geneva also gained a flair for Art from her mother, particularly painting.  One of her proudest achievements in life however, was raising her four daughters.

She attended The Cowboy Church on Haws Road in Iowa Park.  Geneva loved the Lord and enjoyed her many friends at church.

Survivors include four daughters, Teresa and Jim Hargrove, Karen Harlan, Sheri and Barry Mahler and Becky and Kip Hardin; seven grandchildren, Mika Staples, Scott Hawkins, Braden Mahler, Lane Hardin, Morgan Hargrove, Matt Mahler and Lexi Hicks; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one niece, Angela Burgher; one nephew, Kent Knowles; and her loving dog, "Baby".
