Geneva Ann Kidwell, age 88, of Electra, Texas passed away March 22, 2022 in Wichita Falls.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Faith Baptist Church Iowa Park, Texas with Tim Franks, Pastor of Faith Baptist Church, officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Geneva was born January 8, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Dallas Lee McBroom and Ruby George Moore McBroom.

She finished high school and then attended Draughon's Business College.  Geneva was employed by Santa Rosa Telephone Company for eighteen years.  She also was a substitute teacher and the manager of Electra Chamber of Commerce.

She married the love of her life, Jack Kidwell, Sr., on September 23, 1950 in Electra, Texas.

Geneva loved her family and grandchildren.  She was very active in her church and delivered meals to her friends in need.  She was a caring person who helped anyone that had a need.  After retirement, she enjoyed traveling especially going to Norway.  She and Jack  traveled all over the world and had many wonderful memories of those trips. Geneva was an excellent cook and shared her recipes with many people.  She even had her own cookbook that will be a treasure to several of her friends.

Survivors include her husband of nearly seventy-two years, Jack of Electra; two sons, Jack Kidwell, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Midland, and Rick Kidwell and wife, Vickie of Electra; daughter, Dee Ann Berg and wife, Anita of Bergen, Norway; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Golden and husband, Bud of Midland; and brother, Eddie McBroom and wife, Charlene of Fort Myers, Florida.
