Geary Don McCracken, age 74, of Burkburnett, Texas passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Geary was born April 21, 1945 in Electra, Texas to T.L. McCracken and Hilma Grace McDowell McCracken.

He was a welder throughout his life  and retired in 2005.  Geary loved to fish and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Deedra Oldham and husband, Mark of Fort Worth, Texas; one son, Darius McCracken of Wichita Falls; sister, LaJuan Cato and husband, Lee of Decatur; five grandchildren, Leanna, Randall, Justin, Jaiden and Jarett; and his caretaker, Andrea Takats of Burkburnett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry McCracken; and sister, Pat Francis.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Randall King, Jarett McCracken, Justin McCracken and Mark Oldham.

The family would like to thank Andrea Takats for all the love and care she showed to Geary and for helping him.
