Gayle Marie Vieth Steinberger, age 47, of Scotland, Texas passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016, at her residence.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Scotland with Deacon Don Brown officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016, at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Moloney, O.F.S. Parochial Administrator of St. Mary's and St. Boniface Catholic Church, and Deacon Don Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Creek Cemetery in Deer Creek under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Gayle was born June 30, 1968 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late, Eddie Joe Vieth and Patricia Ann Scarlett Vieth.

Gayle graduated from Midway High School. She was a licensed Cosmetologist and owned and operated Cuttin Up for several years. She later became a pharmacy tech. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Gayle was a loving mother and grandmother.

She and Dale Steinberger were married September 12, 1987 in Windthorst, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Dale of Scotland; three sons, Landon and wife, Rachel of Scotland, Mitchell and wife, Katie of Windthorst, and David of Scotland; four grandchildren, Milena, Danielle, Henry and George and one on the way; two brothers, Kenneth Vieth and wife, Angie of Wichita Falls, Donald Vieth and wife, Gayle of Deer Creek; and one sister, JoAnne Veitenheimer and husband, Eddie of Deer Creek.
