Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater, Baptist Minister, officiating. Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park in Electra under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home in Archer City.

Gary was born January 26, 1959 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Gary Don Rowe Sr. and Francine Fish Rowe.

He graduated from Electra High School where he participated in football, basketball and golf. He attended Tarleton State University on a golf scholarship and there he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1984, Gary was the football and golf coach for the Archer City Independent School District.

In 1991, Gary established Dickey McGann and Rowe Insurance Agency in Archer City. He became a proud partner when his sons, Zach and Landon, joined him in the family business in 2010.

Gary started the Archer City Pee Wee Football Program in 1994 where he coached all three of his boys. He was an avid supporter of all sports. Gary was a member of the Archer City Methodist Church, the Archer City Country Club and also served on the Archer City ISD School Board. Gary enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends, riding motorcycles and became a very proud grandparent.

Gary was a loving son, father, brother and Pops who will be missed by his three sons, Zach Rowe and wife, Randi of Archer City; Landon Rowe of Archer City and Kolby Rowe of Dallas; his parents, Don and Francine Rowe of Electra; two brothers, David Rowe and wife, Lisa of Coppell, and Mark Rowe and wife, Rebecca of San Antonio; and two grandchildren, Raegen and Preston Rowe of Archer City.
