Windthorst

Gary Horn, age 29, of Windthorst, Texas passed away Saturday evening, June 8, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fernando Preciado and Deacon Don Brown officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Church under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

Gary was born January 1, 1984 in Archer City, Texas to Jerome Theodore "Jerry" Horn and Virgie May Veitenheimer Horn.

He graduated from Windthorst High School. Gary was self-employed and helped many people with any type of work, including paint and body work and welding. He enjoyed fishing and loved to play cards and dominoes. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his father and mother, Jerry and Virgie Horn of Windthorst; three brothers, Jimmy Horn or Austin, Texas, Joey Horn and wife, Jessica of Atlanta, Georgia and Kevin Horn of Windthorst; one sister, Kelly Horn of Windthorst; his maternal grandparents, Ed and Alvina Veitenheimer of Windthorst; and two nieces, Kamryn Horn of Windthorst and Siena Horn of Atlanta, Georgia.
