Gail Jones, age 85, of Kamay, Texas, formerly of Archer City, Texas, passed away Friday evening, March 27, 2015, at her residence in Kamay.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home in Archer City, with Evangelist Eugene Bullard of Generation Pray Ministries of Archer City, officiating. The family will be receiving guests from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Aulds Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born January 13, 1930, in Burkburnett, Texas to the late William Harvey Huffman and Gladys Diggs Huffman.

She had attended school in Archer City and had worked as a waitress throughout her lifetime. She was a former member of the First Assembly of God in Archer City.

She and Herb Jones, Jr. were married October 6, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2003.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheyenne Wainscott of Kamay, and Kathy Pittman of Wichita Falls; two sons, Eddie Pittman of Wichita Falls, and Kevin Ledford and his wife Deb, of Arkansas, Kansas; one sister, Ruby McCaskill of Archer City; seven grandchildren, Amy Harris and her husband Donnie, of Arrowhead Ranch Estates in Clay County, Texas, Chris Dunn and his wife Lesli, of Wichita Falls, Kristina McGregor of Wichita Falls, James Pittman of Randlett, Oklahoma, John Pittman of Wichita Falls, and Tyler Ledford and Jake Ledford, both of Ada, Oklahoma; twelve great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Zane Weldon Wainscott and Monty Wainscott, and a sister, Evelyn Geis.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Dunn, Chad Grace, Donnie Harris, Hunter Harris, James Pittman, and John Pittman.
