Franke Coelho Starr, age 78 of Archer City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at his residence.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Franke was born August 25, 1943 in Salinas, California, to the late Frank Coelho and Annie George.

He and Janette Marie Starr were married April 14, 1994 in Murphys, California.

Franke graduated high school and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he was a Navy Seal.  After his service to his country, Franke became an entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses across the country.  Most recently, he was the owner of Starr Co Boat/Marine and Furniture in Wichita Falls.  He loved reading his bible daily and singing country and gospel music.  Franke was a member of the Cowboy Church in Henrietta, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Janette of Archer City; four daughters, Lisa Albera of Santa Maria, California, Nicole Ortega of Grover Beach, California, Christina Starr and Victoria Starr and husband, Michael Jones of Archer City; one son, Jeremiah Starr of Frederick, Oklahoma; one brother, Greg Coelho and wife, Jenny of Grover Beach, California; eighteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Chris Coelho and his sister, Christina Coelho.
