Francisco "Frank" Morales, age 63, of Electra, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Frank was born December 7, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas to the late Reynaldo Morales, Sr. and Santos Ybarra Morales.

He married Irma Diaz on June 27, 1992 in Bovina, Texas.  They moved to Electra in 1993.

Frank moved to Electra to work for Terry McAlister.  He then worked in the oilfield industry for Johnson and Ernst and Baker's Casing Pulling.  Frank also worked at Natco in the manufacturing business and for the City of Electra.

He loved his "shades", and could always be found wearing them.  Frank was a good pool player and always found a way to win. He was the life of the party wherever he went and loved to break out his guitar.  Frank was a knife collector.  He adored his children, grandchildren, his loving wife and his two dogs, Oscar and Lola.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Diaz Morales of Electra; two sons, Willie Barron and wife, Jessica of Amarillo and Lucas Diaz and wife, Jamie of Electra; one daughter, Jessica Aragon-Escalante and Armando Escalante of Altus, Oklahoma; three brothers, Gilbert Morales, Martin Morales and Reynaldo Morales, Jr., all of Littlefield, Texas; one sister, Josephine Morales(McCuary) of Littlefield, Texas; nine grandchildren, Raven Barron, Kendra Chastain, Elizabeth Sheffield, Trevor Diaz, Isabella Barron, Lane Sheffield, Sierra Morales, Elijah Morales and Jacrista Morales; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ofelia and Pedro Diaz; sister-in-law, Mary Christina Diaz; and his nephew, Marcos Diaz.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Morales; three sisters, Mary Duran, Margie Salas and Connie Morales; brother-in-law, Fidencio M. Diaz; sister-in-law, Martina Diaz; and one niece, Amanda Gipson.

The family suggests memorials to Friends of the Electra Public Library, 401 North Waggoner, Electra, Texas 76360.

There will be a reception at the Electra Chamber of Commerce, 112 West Cleveland, immediately following the service.  Everyone is welcome to come visit with the family.
