Frances Arnold, age 86, of Electra, Texas passed away Sunday evening, October 20, 2019, in the Electra Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lee, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Frances was born February 9, 1933 to the late Ivan Bowers and Frankie Lee Castleberry Bowers in Electra.

She married Albert Cornelius "Ham" Arnold on August 14, 1952 in Electra, Texas.  He preceded her in death on July 2, 1997.

Frances was a bookkeeper for many years for several business in Electra.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra and then the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and always helped with the crafts and the Church Bazaar.  She also was a member of the Enterprise Home Demonstration Club.  She was a 4 H leader for over twenty years, a volunteer for the Relay for Life for twenty years, a Hospice volunteer and served as the Ombudsman for the Area Agency on Aging of North Texas for the Electra Health Care Center.

Frances loved all and did so much for her family, friends and community.  She was the most selfless person you could ever know and the greatest granny to everyone.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards at the Senior Citizen Center and the Nursing Home.  She had Friday Dinners with her special ladies every week.  Frances was a huge collector of frogs.

Survivors include two sons, Albert Arnold and wife, Regina of Electra and Robert "Moe" Arnold of Electra; two daughters, Dorothy Pearcy and husband, David of Bastrop, Texas, and Debbie Halencak and husband, Randy of Electra; nine grandchildren, April Bartsch and husband, Brian, David Allen Pearcy and wife, April, Andrea Leach and husband, Ryan, Aaron Arnold, Brandi Odneal and husband, Tyler, Clint Halencak, Brittany Wood and husband, Matt, Breanna Arnold and husband, Tyler and Jaylee Arnold; twelve great-grandchildren, Belle, Kannin, Ashton, Jacob, Natalie, Ella, Bentley, Kira, Jace, Jessa, Parker and Olivia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was a bonus mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many others.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Perry Bowers.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Arnold, Brian Bartsch, Tyler Odneal, Tyler Parish, David Allen Pearcy, and Matt Wood.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Aldridge, William Light, Matthew McAliister, Ken Rondeau, Johnny Thompson and David Tweat.
