Foy “Dwayne” Blakley, age 72, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Electra, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his residence.

A Celebration of Dwayne’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Dwayne was born March 29, 1954 in Abilene, Texas to the late Foy Duell “Spider” Blakley and Wanda Emilee Henderson Blakley.

He graduated from Electra High School.

Dwayne married Carol Curtis in 1979 and together they had two children, Jeremy and Amber.

Dwayne was employed by Siemens and retired after twenty-five years of service. He then owned and operated The Dust Buster for eight years. Dewayne loved the beach and camping and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. He enjoyed going out to eat, especially to Carlitos.

Survivors include one daughter, Amber Blakley; three grandchildren, Aiden, Serenity and Ariana; one sister, Sandra Sappington; niece, Ashley Payne and children, Blake and Tyler; nephew, Chris Phillips and wife, Lauren and children, Connor and Landyn, all of Wichita Falls.

Dwayne was also preceded in death his son, Jeremy Blakley; brother, Donald Ray Blakley; and nephew, Anthony Blakley.
