Evelyne Mozelle Rogers Diseker was born November 8, 1933 and passed surrounded by her dear family on May 8, 2026 in her home. Her home was a place of comfort to friends and family alike and her kitchen fed and nurtured generations of her family and their friends. She was known to all simply as Nanny, which was a name that perfectly described her.

Evelyne worked at Midwestern State University for 25 years in the bookstore and loved the faculty and students.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and May Lee Rogers as well as her siblings Audrey Wheat, Marvin Rogers, Melvin Rogers and Ollie Deuschle. She is survived by her children, Becky Mataska (husband Ray), Linda Lovett, Cindy Manchester (husband David), and Roger Diseker (wife Jane).

She had numerous grandchildren: Jody Mataska (Kim) and Himey Mataska (Cori); Julie Castles (Josh), John Lovett, Jr. (deceased); and Joey Lovett (Holly); Ryan Manchester, Dr. Madison Manchester, and Dr. Cameron Manchester (Caroline); John Rogers Diseker and Grace Diseker.

She has 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Pavilion in Electra Memorial Park with Donny Napier, Chaplain at Healing Hands Hospice, officiating. Interment will follow in New Electra Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
