Emma Jane Flippin, of Electra, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2015.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m.m Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Rev. Bob Lee, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in New Electra Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Jane was born on November 25, 1928 to J.D. Flippin and Anna (Metcalf) Flippin. She graduated from Electra High School in 1945 and was an x-ray technician at Sheppard Air Force Base for over 25 years. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ of Electra.

During her younger years, she traveled and bowled. She loved spoiling her nieces and her many Pomeranian dogs. In her later years, she enjoyed driving friends to appointments and helping in any way she could.

Survivors include her sister, Bettie Ray; nieces, Nancy and husband, Stan Mitchell, Terry and husband, Gregg Mielke; great-nieces, Liz and husband, Carl Thames, Amanda and husband, Matt Potts, Samantha Mielke, and Jessica Mielke; great-nephew, Jones Mitchell; great-great-nieces, Scout Potts and Natalie Thames; great-great-nephew, Hugh Potts; aunts, Ruby Flippin Harris and Bea Flippin; cousins, Judy Flippin and Mary Keeton, Sarah and husband, Stanley Willman; many more cousins and by her very dear friends, Frances Arnold and Debbie Halencek.
