IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward D.
"Eddie" Marney
July 20, 1944 – February 14, 2025
"Come to me all who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28. Eddie worked hard his entire life and carried many burdens, but through his relationship with Jesus he is finally at peace and able to rest. Eddie joined the love of his life on February 14, 2025 just in time for Valentine's Day. He and Donna Sue Cooper started dating when she was 14, and he was 18. They married on October 25, 1965 and celebrated 54 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on November 7, 2019.
Family was the most important thing for Eddie. He loved supporting his grandchildren in all endeavors, even when he was fighting through pain. Whether it was academic or athletic, he was always there chasing them to State. Eddie was the hardest working person in any room. During any season you could find him working outside on a lease. His work ethic and dedication are traits he passed down to his children and grandchildren and he was always so proud of them.
