Edna Talley, age 85, lifelong resident of Electra, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas.

A Celebration of Edna's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lee officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Edna was born October 11, 1933 in Electra, Texas to the late Raymond R. Morrow and Frances Bea Vandergriff Morrow.  She graduated from Electra High School.

She married the love of her life for forty-four years, Clifford Talley on July 17, 1953 in Electra.  He preceded her in death  on July 15, 1997.

Edna was the bookkeeper for Goldsmiths Drug Store for fourteen years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and made the banners for the church and also stoles for the pastor.  She also was very active with the annual Church Bazaar, making quilts and many crafts.  Edna was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  She served on the Grand Theater Restoration Committee.

Survivors include two sons, Lynn Talley and wife, Kevin and Midland, Texas, and Greg Talley of Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, James Morrow of Conroe, Texas; two granddaughters, Heather Talley of Midland, Texas and Jamie Talley of Lubbock, Texas; and two grandsons, Bobby Talley and Joseph Talley of Tucson, Arizona; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Edna was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Morrow.
