Edmund Frodyma, age 94, of Archer City, Texas passed away Monday night, May 14, 2018, in Vista Living of Archer City.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Aulds Funeral Home with Joe Cullen, former Pastor of the First Christian Church of Archer City, officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow in Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

Edmund was born December 25, 1923 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to the late Casmier and Anelia Skiba Frodyma.

He graduated from Belchertown High School in Belchertown, Massachusetts.  After graduation, he joined the Army serving during World War II in the European Campaign where he received the Purple Heart.

He married Jean Baughman on November 10, 1947 in Archer City.

Edmund was a very active member of the First Christian Church of Archer City.  He served on the Archer Service Center Board.  He was a lifetime member of VFW, Post 2676, DAV Post 41, and the Association of 3 ^rd Armored Division Veterans.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean Frodyma of Archer City; son, Clifford Frodyma of Archer City; daughter, Peggy McNutt of Duncan, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Misti Frodyma and husband, Jesus Gonzalez of Ft. Lee, Virginia, Brandi Willett and husband, Kevin of Grand Prairie, Jinny Hicks and husband, Nathan of Duncan, Oklahoma, and April Koetter and husband, Derrel of Archer City; three great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Gene Frodyma on February 26, 2010.
