Doug A. "PawPaw" Lynn, Sr., age 63, of Electra, Texas passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at his residence.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Darwin M. Stroud officiating. Interment will follow in New Electra Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
Doug was born November 27, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Wylie Green Lynn, Jr. and Claudia Mae Reid Lynn.
He attended Electra High School. Doug was employed by Lincoln Tank and also Natco. He was a member of the First Assembly of God and the Electra Volunteer Fire Department. Doug loved playing with his grandchildren, fishing, and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed backyard bar-b-que with his family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Allan Lynn and wife, Angela of Iowa Park, and Brandon Lynn and wife, Laura of Iowa Park; one daughter, Jodie Anzaldua and husband, Cody of Weatherford; one sister, Nona Nason and husband, Sammy of Electra, Texas; six grandchildren, Addison, Blaze, Braelan, Kaden, Ayden and Azliey; and his chihuahua, BooBoo.
The family suggests memorials to the First Assembly of God of Electra, 400 East Harrison, Electra, Texas 76360.
