Doug Coleman, age 61, of Archer City, Texas passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, in Weatherford, Texas.

A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at the Archer City Gun Club. If you so desire, please bring a covered dish. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Doug was born April 18, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Archer City High School.

Doug married Derinda Chamberlain on July 4, 1990 in Archer City.

He worked in the oilfield most of his life and also on several ranches.  He was the former owner of Water Express in Archer City.

Doug's pride and joy were his grandchildren and he loved watching them play all sports.  He also enjoyed Nascar.  He was a member of the Sons of American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Derinda of Archer City; step-children, Trey Mobley and wife, LeAnne of Archer City and Celeste Mayo and husband, T.J. of Windthorst; one sister, Debbie McKenzie of Hurst, Texas; four brothers, Dale Coleman and wife, L.J. of Lake Arrowhead, Danny Coleman and wife, Tami of Archer City, Doyle Coleman and wife, Daphne of Archer City, and Dave Coleman and wife, Sequoia of Archer County; five grandchildren, Sidney, Morgan, Zeke, Zeb and Zander; and three great-grandchildren, Charlee, Paisley and Andee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Bailey; and his most precious dog, Rowdy.
