Dorothy Marie Rodgers, age 77, of Electra, Texas passed away Friday morning, August 18, 2023, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the First Assembly of God in Iowa Park, 601 Cash Road 76367.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born February 16, 1946 in Windom, Texas to the late William Clarence Gentry and Bertha Lucille Scott Gentry.

She and Floyd D. Rodgers were married November 4, 1963 in Electra, Texas.  He preceded her in death on September 19, 2008.

Dorothy was a homemaker throughout her life.  She enjoyed fishing, bowling, canning and gardening and her coffee.  Dorothy loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and enjoyed spending time with all of them.  Dorothy was a very giving person with a huge heart.

Survivors include one son, Lloyd Rodgers and wife, Linda; one daughter, Teresa Rodgers and husband, David; two brothers, Robert Gentry and Jessie Gentry and wife, Tracey; five grandchildren, Joey, Brandon, Ryan, Jaime and wife, Victoria, and Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Joseph, Gabriel and Christian; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Bobby and Billy Don.
