Doris Ann Flusche Robinson, 80, passed peacefully on December 20, 2018 at Silverado Memory Care near Austin.  Family members were all blessed to be able to say their goodbyes.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Khoi Tran, of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Electra, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Doris was born at home in Electra, Texas on July 26, 1938.  She graduated in 1956 from Academy of Mary Immaculate, Wichita Falls and attended the University of Dallas where she studied piano and made the Dean's List.  Doris was married to Waid Robinson for twenty-four years and was a partner in Flusche Supply for ten years in Electra.

She moved to the mountains in Colorado, which was her happy place.  Her love of music, aimless road trip adventures and teaching the joys of dancing, were known to all.

Doris was a very devoted Catholic and caring person.  She opened her heart ad home to many.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Alma and Carl Flusche; her brother, Gene Flusche; and nephew, Stephen Flusche.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda and husband, Robert Caffee of Austin and their sons, Travis of Grand Lake, Colorado and Lee of Austin; her daughter, Lynette Holtz of Marble Falls, former son-in-law, Mark Holtz of Keystone, Colorado and their son, Spencer Holtz of Westminster, Colorado.  Other surviving family members include her brother, Gary Flusche and his wife, Loren Rice of Austin; sister-in-law, Sylvia Flusche; niece, Carla Labaisse and her daughter, Alexandra Labaisse all of Wichita Falls; as well as many other loved ones who will miss her.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude for the wonderful care the staff at Bee Cave Silverado Memory Care gave Doris.  Also thank to the many other caregivers who helped care for her over the years.
