Donna Dee Ethridge Wilson, age 83, of Electra, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Electra Healthcare Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024, in Electra Memorial Park with Carl Wright of Electra, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Donna was born February 28, 1941 in Electra, Texas to Cap and Mozelle Ethridge.  She spent most of her life in Electra.

Throughout her life, she was employed at the State Hospital in Wichita Falls as a Mental Health Worker.  Donna retired in 2000 after twenty-five years of service.

Her greatest joy and blessings in life came after having grandchildren.  They brought so much happiness into her life.  Donna attended Electra Community Church and Rylee always remembers her grandmother taking them to church.

Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Wilson of Wichita Falls; one son, Wendell Wilson of Electra; two granddaughters, Kenlie Rae and husband, Jacob and Rylee Wilson; one grandson, Jacob Wilson; her sister, Diane Sweeney of Graham; two nieces, Angie Ethridge and Lacy Bond; one nephew, Kyle Sweeney; and two cousins, Doris Stephens and Sharon Taylor.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Cap and Mozelle Ethridge; her brother and sister-in-law, JD and Ellen Ethridge; brother-in-law, Neal Sweeney; and one nephew, Brian Sweeney.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of Electra Healthcare Center and Solaris Hospice for the love and care for Donna.
