Donna Jay Kelley, age 73, of Electra, Texas passed away Friday evening, January 15, 2021 in the Electra Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra, with Rev. Ryan Vanderland, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Electra, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Electra Memorial Park.

Mrs. Kelley was born February 10, 1947 in Mineral Wells, Texas to the late J.C. Fore and Luna Fisher Fore.

She was raised in Electra and was a 1965 graduate of Electra High School. After high school, she graduated from Beauty College in Wichita Falls, Texas.  After graduation from cosmetology school, she returned to Electra and opened her own beauty shop.  In 1979, she became employed as one of only two women roustabouts hired by Mobil Oil Corp. She was later promoted to lease operator and operated leases in Comanche Y, Oklahoma, Satanta, Kansas, and Guymon, Oklahoma.  She retired in 1999 from Mobil with more than twenty years of service.

She and Jarrell Kelley were married January 19, 1991 in Electra.

After her retirement, they moved to The Woodlands, Texas. While in The Woodlands, she worked as a contractor for Exxon Mobil as a geosciences tech for another ten years.  They have resided in Electra since November of 2020.

She is survived by her husband Jarrell of the home;  two sons, Jarroll Willett, and his fiancé Angie Farias of Wichita Falls, and Harroll Willett of Electra;  six grandchildren, Amelia Willett, Ashley Willett, Danica Bayless, Brittany Wood, Jaylee Arnold, and Todd Parker;  and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jarroll Willett, Harroll Willett, Todd Parker, Jeff Rodgers, Juan Hernandez, Jimmy Hernandez, and Noel Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn DuPloy, and her sister, Anna Grange.
