Don Felts, age 89, of Electra, Texas passed away Thursday morning, June 16, 2022, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Joe Ainsworth and Ryan Vanderland, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Electra, officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Don was born June 7, 1933 to the late Warren Odell Felts and Zelda Ruth Johnson Felts in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He attended Wichita Falls High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Don married Virginia Jones on November 16, 1958 in Grandfield, Oklahoma.  She preceded him in death on June 14, 2007.

Don was a postal worker for thirty-six years in Wichita Falls and Electra.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra.  Don coached Little League Baseball for several years.  He loved watching the Texas Rangers.  Don also enjoyed traveling and had been to all of the states except Alaska.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Houck and husband, Travis of Electra and Sandra Brewer and husband, Bruce of Vernon; brother, Rev. Bill Felts and wife, Doris of Paris, Texas; sister, Wanda Holzer and husband, Jerry of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, Amanda Green and husband, Brian of Wichita Falls, Kevin Houck and wife, Amber of Wichita Falls, Jennifer Warren and husband, Tray of Memphis, Tennessee and Blake Brewer and wife, Kelsey of Monticello, Illinois; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, K.C. Felts and one brother, Adrian Felts.
