Dolores Annette Kerley Cruz, age 86, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Friday evening, July 21, 2023 in a Wichita Falls, Texas nursing facility.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the Archer City Cemetery in Archer City, Texas with her son-in-law, Robert Simmons, Acolyte of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Fort Worth, officiating.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Dolores was born December 1, 1936 in Temple, Texas to the late Toles Spivey Kerley and Gladys Lucille Stevens.

She and Pablo Cruz, Jr. were married October 28, 1957 in Weatherford, Texas.  He preceded her in death on May 31, 1997.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

Survivors include her three daughters, Carrie Thomas and her husband Mike of Wichita Falls, Deborah Simmons and her husband Bobby, and Christy Marquez and her husband Anthony, both of Fort Worth; her son, Paul Cruz, III and his wife Monica of Houston, Texas; her sister, Brenda Harris of Maple Grove, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren, Jeff Pipkin, Suzanne Couchman, Tony Marquez, Marcum Marquez, Troy Marquez, Aaron Marquez, Simon Cruz, Mathilda Cruz, Brittany Tate, James Casey, Kelly Casey and Kristy Casey; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Edward Paul Cruz, and her daughter Susan Casey.
