Diane Aldrich Permenter, age 59, of Plano, Texas passed away September 23, 2014 at her residence.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014, at the First Baptist Church East Sanctuary in Wichita Falls with Larry Miller, Pastor of the Henrietta Cowboy Church, officiating. Private interment will follow in the Big Valley Cemetery in Chillicothe under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Diane was born August 18, 1955 to Robert Elliott Aldrich and Tomaree Young Aldrich in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She and David Permenter were married in 1982 in Wichita Falls.
Diane graduated from Wichita Falls and then Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with three Master's Degrees and ultimately attained her Doctorate Degree in Education in 2013. She was employed by the Garland ISD where she worked as a teacher and Bilingual-ESL Coordinator. She enjoyed helping students achieve their academic goals and empowered teachers to do the same. She led an active and vibrant life and positively impacted the lives of everyone who knew her.
Diane loved The Lord with all of her heart, walked with Him, and trusted Him as a beautiful daughter of the King in good times and bad times. She loved her family and relished in every celebration great or small. She found joy in music and shared that joy with her students in her private piano studio for twenty-seven years. She also loved the outdoors. Diane lived her life in the fast lane, driven in every area of her life to achieve success and helping others do the same. Diane loved to laugh, to try new things, to sing, and to smile.
Survivors include David of Arlington; son, Brian Keith Permenter of Corpus Christi; daughter, Lacie Marie Permenter Panknin and husband, Jeff of Corpus Christi; father, Bob Aldrich and wife, Helen of Wichita Falls; brothers, Keith Alan Aldrich and wife, Shannon and Bobby Teague and wife, Chareece all of Wichita Falls; sister, Paula Teague Marshall and husband, Les Marshall of Waco; five grandchildren, Elijah, Caleb, Levi, Abigail and Megan; in-laws, John and Jo Ann Permenter of Lufkin, Texas; sister-in-law, Debra Permenter of Arlington; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Permenter of Lufkin; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends and adopted parents, Bill and Nova Watson of Springfield, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tomaree in 1982.
