Dennis D. Unruh, age 49, passed away November 26, 2020, in Arlington, Texas.

No services are set at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

Dennis was born January 31, 1971 to Eldon and Wilma Unruh and raised in Kinsley, Kansas where he graduated high school in 1989.

After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served as an electrical lineman while stationed in Cuba.  While serving in Cuba, he was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease.  In 2006, he moved to Electra and worked as a welder at Natco.

Dennis was on dialysis for many years until receiving a kidney transplant in 2016.

He and Toni Owens were married on March 22, 1991 in Great Bend, Kansas,  She preceded him in death on May 10, 2019.  After her death, he began repairing guns out of his home in Electra and was operating under the name of Unruhly Gun Repair.

Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Unruh of Garfield, Kansas; two sons, Jacob and Chance Unruh both of Electra; father and step-mother, Eldon and Elnora Unruh of Naples, Florida; two sisters, Veronica Kirkwood of Lake Texoma, Texas and Jane Kirkwood of Kinsley, Kansas; one grandson, Declan Unruh of Garfield, Kansas; and mother-in-law, Mary Kulp of Electra, Texas.
