Debra Kay Neel, age 62, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Aulds Funeral Home with Roger Deerinwater, Baptist Minister, officiating. Services are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Debra was born November 19, 1952 to Don Ray Neel and Joan Carruth Neel in Wichita Falls.
She graduated from Rider High School and attended Stephen F. Austin College in Nacogdoches. She then attended Midwestern State University where she earned her Registered Nurse degree.
Debra was employed as a nurse at Bethania Hospital and United Regional Health Care until her retirement in 2011.
Debra was a gifted sketch artist and loved to cook gourmet meals for her family. She was generous, kind and loving person who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her mother, Joan Neel of Wichita Falls; one sister, Sheryl Hall of Wichita Falls; nephews, Jeff Hall and wife, Eryn of Allen, and Greg and Ryan Hall of Wichita Falls; six great nieces and nephews; one uncle, Carl Neel and wife, Kay; and seven cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Ray Neel on August 20, 2010 and brother-in-law, Larry Hall on March 8, 2009.
