Debbie Rater, age 61, of Antelope, Texas passed away Friday evening, June 6, 2014, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, at Aulds Funeral Home with Lessie "Woody" Woodard, Pastor of the North Temple Baptist Church in Pecos, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow in the Antelope Cemetery in Antelope under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Aulds Funeral Home.

Debbie was born September 13, 1952 in Pecos, Texas to Malcom Odell Hannah and Bobbie Dee Willingham Hannah.

She graduated from Pecos High School and then from Cosmetology School in Odessa.

She and Jerrel "Jerky" Rater were married June 7, 1980 in Archer City. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2010.

Debbie was a homemaker throughout her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts and making wood creations.

Debbie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Archer City and was very faithful.

Survivors include three sons, Shane Rater and wife, Lisa, and Shawn Rater, all of Archer City, and Toby Rater of Antelope; one sister, Donna Woodard and husband, Lessie of Pecos, Texas; sister-in-law, Rayma Richey of Breckenridge; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Dale and JoDell Hannah.
