Dawn Willett du Plooy, age 51, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at her residence in Byers.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Rev. Darwin Stroud of Electra officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Dawn was born April 14, 1966 in Wichita Falls to Jennings Ingram Willett, Jr. and Donna Jay Fore Willett.

She graduated from Electra High School and then  went to Cosmetology School.  She was employed  by home health for many years of her life.

She and A.J. du Plooy were married September 15, 2009 in Washburn, North Dakota.

Dawn  was loved and adored by all her family.  She devoted all of her time to her seven grandchildren.  Dawn was a member of First Baptist Church of Electra.

Survivors include her husband, A.J. du Plooy of Byers; one son, Todd Parker and wife, Karlee of Springtown; two daughters, Brittany Wood and husband, Matthew of Lakeside City and Jaylee Arnold of Byers; mother, Donna Kelley and husband Jarrell of The Woodlands; two brothers, Jarroll and Harroll Willett of Electra; and seven grandchildren, Jace Wood, Cashton Parker, Everly-Grace Parker, Parker Wood, Jessa Wood, Easton Parker, and Olivia Wood.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.I. Willett on February 20, 2014.
