Danny R. Neff, Sr., age 89, of Iowa Park, formerly of Electra,  passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Josh Fields, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, officiating.  Interment will follow in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Aulds Funeral Home.

Danny was born November 18, 1932 in Electra, Texas to the late Coy Francis Neff and Cora Eva Buckmaster Neff.  He proudly served his country in the Army from 1952 to 1954.

Danny and Barbara Huffstutler were married May 25, 1956 in Electra, Texas.  She preceded him in death on October 7, 2015.

He worked in the oilfield for a cement company fracking wells for several years.  Danny then accepted a job with the City of Electra where he worked in the power plant for forty-two tears before retiring.  He loved to fish and do wood work.  Danny was a Scout Master for several years, coached Little League sports and even worked in the church nursery for many years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iowa Park.

Survivors include one son, Danny Neff and wife, Ann of Iowa Park; two granddaughters, Jennifer Noble and husband, Billy of Iowa Park and Carlena Neff Sheley of Norton, Kansas; one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Baylee Noble; and three great-grandsons, William Jackson Noble, Landry Ryan Noble and Chandler Woodson Noble.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, C.F. and Jerry Neff; five sisters, Helen Neff, Clarabell Adams, Mary Neff, Alvesta Blevins and Lucy Corene Stanley; and his grandson-in-law, Dave Sheley.
