Danny Richard Koetter, age 71, of Archer City, Texas passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Scotland KC Hall in Scotland, Texas.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Dan was born November 10, 1951 in Jacksboro, Texas to the late Edwin Koetter and Elsie Mae Frerich Koetter.

Dan worked in the Concrete Industry before entering the oilfield where he worked for Lindemann Drilling on drilling rigs and as a pumper.  He also worked for Lindemann Well Service for multiple years before retirement.  Dan was a very talented mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers.

Survivors include four children, Danny Richard Koetter, Jr., David Dewayne Koetter, Beth Ann Koetter and Kellie Mae Koetter; five grandchildren, Dalilah Rogue, Shelby Elinor, Immah Remileigh, Irvin Lee and Jeremiah Jace; and eight brothers and sisters.

Dan was also preceded in death by his brother, Clyde and nephew, Jeremiah Raney.
